its just gone 10 on Christmas morning and here I am at the schedulers mansion being forced to work by the admins, because it seems I have been a naughty scheduler by making the courses to hard. As my punishment, I have to work on Christmas day to make sure that 2023 is easier for kinetic. To show that they are not fully mean, they said that I can have one extra lump of coal for the fire. I tried to explain about my family Christmas dinner, how every year it changes location and it takes me a long time to try and figure out where it is, I really thought this was the year that I would get it right and get to attend. Oh well, anyway this week we head to Kyssesteiner Golf Klub by sebk . Because of the day that is in it and all that extra work I have to do, I genuinely don't have time for a long write up. I just want to wish you all a Happy Christmas and you should see the fruits of my labor came the new year. Have a great holiday all. |

Unusually quiet around here this season. It's about to get even quieter. Battling -7 in the first round put me in decent position. A double on 4 in r2 knocked the wind out of me a bit but I fought back with 5 straight birds up to the turn. But then another double on 11 followed by two great shots in to 12 giving me a 12 footer for eagle which I managed to 3-putt for a par, and all the fight left me. Went through the motions from there to end -2 for the round and -9 for the tournament. That looks likely to be taking my place in the Challenge Circuit that I should have had a few weeks ago. It's not a bad thing to be honest, I'm still working to level up my fittings and maybe some slightly easier courses might suit me better at this point. Absolutely nothing wrong with these ones, I've enjoyed them, just a little above my pay grade. Good luck to everyone for the rest of the season!

I could have just taken this week off since I've been feeling sick from Christmas Day onwards. Still not feeling best but since I wasn't too badly off today, I decided to go for it. And I had already missed last week due to circumstances, so...
Did not start well with a bogey on hole 1 after not hitting well off the tee, then finding water. -7 to go home for the day after round 1, 3 bogeys on the card... well if I could score this well and keep the bogeys away, should be good, right?
Well what do you know, when you take the 3 bogeys out, I'm all of a sudden -9 in round 2! Had a couple putts early on which I just had to wonder how in the world I missed those, and might have caused slight triggering, but didn't end up going too long that way. So far the 7th hole is my lucky charm since I'm bombing an average of an eagle per round there. I was probably taking it a little too safe by the last couple holes, but didn't end up costly.
-16 at the cut point, in for the weekend. About as much as I could have asked for right now! Cheers, and best of luck.

Shot myself out of anything with a few bad holes in round 3 to limp in at -6.
A whole lot of "what if" thinking for myself left for next week by shooting a -13 for 59 in round 4 for one of those now rarer pro tour sub 60s. For me, at least. Total to -35.
Hopefully the last round of the year will bring more good fortune to the next. Cheers, happy New Year!

Kinetic is the worst tour to be on. It's an awful experience on our end with how you set up courses every week. Stop scheduling this like it is platinum and give us a @!$#ing break every couple weeks. We all run our own society's. It's not difficult to recognize when the experience sucks and to ease up on conditions every once in a while. At this point you either have zero awareness, or you just want to be an a##!0#l.

You realise this is one of only 3 Pro tours right? On the plus side, brilliant last minute entry at the worst post of the year. Dan, you keep doing what you're doing. It's not just me that thinks you're the best scheduler on these tours. |
