I have a friend who mistakenly bought the PS4 version off the game when he has a PS5, he wants to buy the PS5 version. Will he lose all his fittings with the same PS account?. I say this as I lost many fittings and had to pay to refit them when I reinstalled windows 11.

Should just be charged to re-equip the fittings, but other than that ready to go.
I have both versions installed on PS5 and the things I've seen that cross over are vc, stats, levels, and inventory. The clothing/clubs cosmetics/fittings are all there, just not equipped when switching between, so he'll have to pay again to put the same things back on.
Still no idea if that's intended or an oversight/bug.
