I need a little bit of help/ advice/ guidance! Basically, I set out to create a resort with multiple courses on, and the scope of the project has grown and grown over time, to the point that I'm now trying to design a 72 hole plot. However, partly due to poor planning (it was originally going to be nowhere near this size, so too much of the plot is afforded to the coastline/ beach and courses 1 and 2 are too central), part of course 3 and possibly part of course 4 are going to be way too close to the edge of the plot. As it's a coastal project, in desert theme, to get an ocean edge I can only use the backdrop that is ocean on all sides, but I want to hide the edge of the sea giving the illusion of "not being an island." I've sort of done this with a town area, meant to be giving a sort of St Andrews 1 and 18 vibe, even forcing some buildings off the edge of the plot to try to hide it as much as possible as so: But there are some views of the ball in the air, or when zooming to target, where the ocean is visible in the background. At what point do I call it quits and accept that I'm not going to be able to cover every possibility, especially if someone chooses to go exploring with the free cam? Or do I blow up the 3/4 holes closest to the edge of the plot and try again? It's really frustrating me trying to cover every angle, but I'm running out of buildings to try (and more importantly, object meter)! Thanks!

It’s a limitation of the way the island plots work. The other alternative is going to the backdrop which has the ocean on just the one side. If you’re going for the island approach, unless you significantly raise the land to give the illusion of hills and trees (see Playa Saona, for example, you have accept the occasional view of the ocean.
As you say, you could have done it differently early on, but probably one to accept for now. Learn and take it with you 🙂

It'd be nice if there were some plots with water on 2 sides ...

I am teetering on the idea of rebuilding a couple of those holes though, as they're not my favourite and if I can get away with a less dense town area then that does me favours too, as I am rapidly running out of meter. I always struggle with the boundaries of my projects the most!
