Does anyone else feel like unless you are near the top it simply doesn't matter anymore? I try to challenge myself at this point and do better on certain holes, but you're not going to get any demotion or promotion marks now.

It's always been a bit of an issue but it's just the nature of the beast really.
As you say it's best to set a target for yourself. Or sometimes I'll try some slightly different shots to see how they work under the gun (kind of) or just go all out attack knowing I've avoided a demo.

While an understandable feeling, it’s probably a self-fulfilling prophecy to say huge leaderboard leaps aren’t possible with low weekend rounds. There isn’t any real money being exchanged here, so we’re all kinda in the same boat regardless of level. For myself personally, playing this game takes time and energy away from things like family, job, house upkeep, etc. so I try and fully commit to trying my best on every shot so my time feels like it’s worth it! |
