Just looking at seamount4life clip, this isn't exclusive to PC. This happens on PS too. I think what his post shows, is that this issue isn't able to be reproduced hole to hole, platform to platform. It'd be interesting (if anyone has the time or inclination) to provide the same info from a PS WTF putt (where it's clear that lack of worm cam adjustment isn't at play) and see what the same putt looks like on PC. |

What $hits me is you miss a putt on PC and coming back the beads the other side of the hole (that you have just putt from) are moving faster than what’s been shown in the video above. It’s a definite bug on PC. I get that on PS all the time... The only way to be sure is to worm cam, but I've no time for that nonsense nowadays - hell, I can't even be arsed to switch putt / approach cams back for Elite tour rounds so I just play with TST approach settings. I'd like to have the jagged lines available on PS, however. Wait a minute... switch putt / approach cams back for Elite??? What??? Errr, this is gonna sound very, very stupid, but... what am I missing if I don't do this? Because, obviously, I don't... Wouldn't even know (any more) what to switch back... Is this the real reason for my 37 red thingies every week??   |

Profile / Settings / Cameras - then the top option is Approach / Putting Camera.
You want it OFF for Elite / grid play (which is the default setting iirc), and ON for TST (to allow the reverse view on the greens)

I can only cite others, but materialization posted in the TGCT Discord that „pc has like 10 different bead speeds to represent all the breaks between the smallest and a red slope.. ps and xbox have 4 or 5 times that, the difference is shocking“. Thus, even if you get that often, the situation seems to be worse on PC. I agree that wormcamming is what should be done, but you are aware that wormcamming is a pita. Having jagged gridlines were therefore the perfect workaround. |
