I don't think Taffs disputing that at all. Just that they are more inclined to play their society rounds solo and this aren't likely to notice the current issue he and others are having. Fair enough. I have likely mis-interpreted his comments. I was looking more at the past when this game launched and not to the more current theme in this thread about playing Society rounds with another player.
For that I apologize.
It's a niche scenario to be sure, but one that should be addressed.
No worries mate, like Craig said, it was more of the fact that they play their society rounds solo and not with others so they wouldn't have / see this problem, but if they do, and I apologise to them if they do, they need to speak up aswell

Not at all mate. Tbf I've since probably said the things that it might have seemed Taff was suggesting haha I think he quite likes the game and is just a little irked that he can't play societies in a group. Whereas, yeah, honestly I think it's still fun but a borderline embarrassing product. Golf is a social game, so it just feels better playing with others... I enjoy playing the game, even the dodgy swings we get on xbox, but it's just that they had something which we used regularly was taken for no reason whatsoever

I still enjoy my rounds a lot. Just some things like the lack of polish and when a feature isn't working removing it rather than fixing it makes it seem they aren't getting any resources to expand on this one. I hope I'm wrong though and in the new year they've ironed out a few things!

I’ll get the EA game for sure but I’ll mainly play where the TGC Tours are…..

I don't play societies at all since they took away the live ghost play that we played for almost 2 years, most of our guys stopped also it's a shame.

I live in a different state than the people I regularly play the game with (over 1000 miles away), so playing these society events together was a blast. Since the update, we still get online and shoot together "live" but it's just so we can chat, we play the rounds in about 15 minutes, and then go along with our day, whereas it used to be upwards of an hour talking, hanging out, golfing, you know that whole social aspect someone else touched on earlier. Just a shame. I have not gotten any response to my tweets that I sent last week as well. Anyone else here have any suggestions? I'll lead the charge if there is someone / somewhere else we need to be posting or contacting. Thank you, it at least feels good to know we are not alone.

Not sure what else can be done aside from flooding them with tickets. The bugs (leaderboard, gameplay) and lack of society play is turning people off. The upper tier of the design community has pretty much stopped providing free content so there is a steady diet of recycled courses everywhere you turn. The season pass still has forever left on it so nothing new there. There really is no reason to keep playing career mode anymore if you have everything unlocked. The fittings by now have been maxed out for most people on their clubs. The game on its own merit is not that overly fantastic to withstand not addressing the glaring needs brought to their attention.

If they wait that long it will be too late. It needs fixing now but don't hold your breath.

rhino4life, is / was there another reason that the upper tier of the designer community has stopped putting out content? I'm only guessing that it is because of some flaw or something with the course design tool? Or are these designers turned off by the lack of support the rest of us are getting with Society play, etc.?

If you want to keep people interested in the designer then stop regurgitating the same old engine / assets / themes. This gets a little stale for the guys who always seemed to be pushing the envelope on being creative with the tools provided the last 4-5 years. I think a huge turnoff is some 2K21 courses cannot be ported over without a ton of work being done to reduce the object meter to less than 100%. I think there are other annoying bugs still ongoing. Crashing is one I have heard. This sucks when you get into a groove for a long period of time and the designer freezes...and you lost your work.

Me and my golfing partner...bpatrick4489 just played a round in the 2k21 game and it works nicely. With 2k's lack of addressing their newly created problems we have no choice but to play our matchs in that version. I made a society called " Master Play " and will keep setting up the events until hopefully 2k gets a fix for multi player or ea brings out there game.

rhino4life understood! I've read quite a few posts about the object meter in this game being an issue. In other news, I did post another tweet @pgatour2k. I'm sure it will go unanswered like the previous ones, but I'm going to keep trying..
