These disconnects are adding on to the other frustrations of this game for me. It's multiple times per gaming session for me, sometimes even multiple times per round.
It doesn't matter if I'm playing society, career or local Top Golf with my wife. The game constantly kicks to offline.
This is certainly not related to my internet connection. My PS5 is hardwired to fiber optic that typically runs at 400+ DL and 20+ UL.
It just adds to the frustration of the stupid splash shot execution (which is more difficult to pull off than an IRL sand shot), and the inability to have any half decent consistency with tempo.
The latter I'll concede *somewhat* to the effects chemotherapy has had on me over the past year and a half. But it makes no sense when I go into the driving range and I'm hitting balls that the tempo is usually grabbing the gray with some perfects.
Then I go to play a round and balls is spraying all over the place like a monkey throwing turds.
The constant disconnects on top of the above frustrations are beginning to make this game unplayable to me. I don't understand how the top console players are shooting so well so consistently with this version of the game. Props to you and curious if you experience the same disconnect BS all of the time.

Don't know if this is related to your problem, but the other day my Xbox series X would not go on line no matter what I did. Ran every test and they all said my connection was fine (both wired and wifi) but the game refused to connect. The solution for me was to uninstall and re-install, and my problem went away. Hope this might be of some help.

Get disconnected all the time ... really have very few complaints about the game other than that.

Lol, the game went to offline mode while it was just sitting at the main menu.
It's gone offline during play too. But from just being at the main menu screen is really whacked.
Not sure what stability issues they fixed but this was not one of them.
Maybe next time- if they are even aware it's an issue.

Hope this might be of some help. Hi, I am glad I’m not on my own, as I type I am in the process of re-installing again, for the 3rd time. It goes away & then comes back all of a sudden, randomly. It is so annoying the rest of the connections on my series x is fine just 2k23, As you know it’s a time consuming job to re-install, there just has to be a glitch in the game for this to happen bleddy 2k are a pile of shite. |

For what it's worth. I've had 2k23 on PS5 for 2 weeks and it hasn't happened to me at all.....Not once on Career, Societies or online matches with mates.
Not sure how helpful that is but it's not a completely pervasive problem. I'm connected wireless to dodgy West Wales internet as well!

I’m on Xbox and yeah frequent. Still have the swing jitter glitches too but just have to power off the controller and back on or quit out of the game.

So my friends and I have had it happen a few times during a private online match (there are 3 of us). It has happened in two different ways.
The first scenario, that little countdown at the top of the screen, after you have completed a hole and you have to press the X button to advance to the next hole, we have noticed that sometimes if you do not push the button, and it reaches zero for someone, it will lock the game up for everyone, until that person exits the game or restarts their console. Of course, this ruins the round, since we cannot wait on them or add them back in. This has happened multiple times to us, most of the time on the 13th or 14th hole of an 18 hole round. We have started playing 9 holes at a time to limit the frustration of this happening.
The second scenario, just apparently happened randomly, there was no warning or anything, just one of my friends got disconnected / went offline (despite being on the live chat through Playstation with us, and never actually losing internet connectivity). This one happened on the 12th or 13th hole, so again, we had to start over.
Just frustrating...
