First of all, I want to welcome all the new players that are arriving this week on Kinetic, it is nice to see you here and I have to say, you do look like a class above of the people you are replacing. To be honest, they just did not fit in, they had should an attitude problem, thankfully, I was able to use my scheduler powers to manipulate the leader boards to get them promoted to elite and they are someone elses problem now.
This week on Kinetic we have a course by pablo. For you that are new to the game or new to tgctours, let me tell you a little bit about Pablo. Back in the olden day of the first golf club game, Pablo was a designer that had a few courses on tour, in fact I won an event on this very tour on a Pablo course, that I scheduled and won through my brilliant play. Over the following few years though, newer better looking, more intelligent, English speaking designers started to come along and Pablo started to fall off of the radar a bit. So he started trying a little bit to hard to regain some of his fame. He started designing tougher courses in the hopes that the challenge they would bring would have people talking about him again, his greens were especially tough. It worked, in a way, people did indeed started talking about Pablo, but it was not praise he was getting, he was instead getting the blame for bad rounds, in fact soon, even when people had a bad round on a non-Pablo course, he would get the blame, the blame Pablo hastag started trending and soon, blame Pablo was all over the tours for when anything went wrong, some of you older members might remember that. Pablo himself though could not handle this, he did not want to be blamed, he wanted to be loved, mentally he started to crack and soon turned to alcohol help calm his nerves, but the more he was blamed the more he drank, not only that though, he started to drink cheap inferior Scottish whiskey instead of the far healthier and better for you Irish whiskey. He got so desperate that he started naming his courses after brands of Scottish whiskey to try and get free bottles to keep him in drink, in face the course we are playing this week is named after a whiskey brand. As the alcohol started to take it's toll, Pablo soon faded away and was never heard from again.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I was in a subway station when I heard from behind me " Father, can help an old altar boy, i'm a catholic". I thought to myself, this guy either thinks he is a extra in The Exorcist, thinks I am his father, or is a ex designer that has fallen on hard times. No matter what though, he is completely mad. I took a closer look and was shocked to see it was Pablo, this crusty, disheveled looking bum was Pablo. I would like to say he looked a shadow of his formed self, but to be honest, Pablo always looked like that. There was no way I was giving him any money though, I am not a charity. I then noticed that he had a nice little bit of change in his cap on the ground, and thought to myself, I could use that to get a burger. So I made a deal with him, I would take his change, I would then use one of his courses on tour and he can sit outside the gates of the course and beg for money, a win win for everyone. So hear we are, playing a Pablo course on tour for the first time in ages, I am sorry for the Pablo gauntlet you have to go though to enter the grounds of the course, just shout " It's your fault" at him as you pass and he will turn away and hid in the bottom of his bottle.
As for the course itself, I think this week has more par holes than the previous two weeks, there are some tough Pablo pins, and walking away with par on these holes will be a good thing. I also think it is the course that could cause the most rage in the opening few weeks, you have to play smart, you have to at times play careful, if not, you can always just blame Pablo. Good luck all, you just might need it.
