Doyley - Can you explain how promotion events are going to work this time around? How are the results going to sort? I feel like we all want to play at the highest level we can, but it would be decidedly less fun to wind up sorted into a Tour in which you'll never really be competitive. Can you tell us how the process plays out so we can decide whether to play the event or just keep grinding for promotions the old-fashioned way?

That’s the chance you take if you play in these competitions if you have a great tournament you can end up in a division to hard for you. If your worried about that don’t play it’s as simple as that. I’m not a great player I’m currently in CC-J I will play it in the hope I can get promoted a little further up so I’ve got further to fall before I have to redo Q school |

Can you tell us how the process plays out so we can decide whether to play the event or just keep grinding for promotions the old-fashioned way? Best way to get a handle on it is to view the results from a past Promo Event. Here's the last one we did from last season. Available slots per tour aren't known until the promo event is finalized so it's always best practice to just play as well as you can and see where the chips fall when results are posted.
