Does anyone have suggestions for realistic courses that have mostly short rough? I like to play a version of this game where I try to replicate a normal round for my level of play IRL. I can dial down distance and make shaping an extra challenge (like a realistic systemic fade). But I can't replicate the more playable rough of a nice public course/weekend country club.

A course that might fit the bill for you is "East Nashville Muni". It's made to play like a realistic public course in the middle of the city, and it has mostly light/short rough.

Hackamore Field Club has a good amount of light rough. ❤️

Check out The Links at Union Vale. All the light colored grass is heavy rough. Every piece of darker grass on this course other than fairways and greens, is light rough that I hand-splined around each hole including all the little trails between holes that the maintenance crew uses based on the google map info.
