Congrats to the 45 sickos who made it onto the Platinum Tour to start the season. With a likely impending removal of consumable golf balls in future weeks, I hope you all enjoy your time here. What does that mean for this week? Absolutely nothing. You may use your aviators, magnets, frictions, duct tapes, and holy roller golf balls until you're blue in the face (and/or complete 72 holes at Whiskey Trails). Once we have confirmation that we will/wont all be playing default balls in future events, I will finalize settings and courses for future weeks. Oh and snoopy it's ok to let others compete for a trophy this season too. Take it easy out there... |

First tournament in the books for me. -14, -12, -11, -10 for -47. Farewell Aviators you worked well for me the 8 rounds I used you in this game. I was worried about bunkers with the chips removed but I didn't even end up in any after the patch. Probably need to learn what the wind meter calibration is too, I'm just guesstimating out there. Hoping for a top 10 but somewhere around 15th-20th

I don't know what to say, I was a total embarrassment. Not sure which excuse is best,
1.) My 4 year old pestering me for attention constantly during my first 3 rounds.
2.) Having been on vacation for most of the last two weeks
3.) Not practicing or preparing for 192 green speeds in at least a month
4.) Not even checking the conditions before starting the round or completing the first couple holes and wondering why I was racing everything by
5.) Going directly to the default balls because of the announcement
I do believe I will be competitive on this tour in the next couple weeks, maybe not for wins but top 20 and perhaps an occasional top 10. That said I am now worried I need to review what are the policies around demotion or relegation and when I have to be worried about that after cruising to a top 20 in the qualifying event.

First 2 rounds in the bag. Solid start but just drifted off on the back 9! Satisfactory -11 rd 1.
Followed up with a much better but far from perfect -16 in rd2.
Great to be back on the big stage after some time drifting away, no feeling like the little nerves i get playing these tour over the years, feels great to be back!
Hoping i can keep on track for a nice top 10 finish to kick things off! 🙏🙏
