Agreed on the course Giraffe72. I liked that the difficulty came from positioning, slopes and angles rather than any ott spots that would leave unplayable shots ( that I found at least). Really enjoyed it. I concur. I think the people that don’t like it just see the wide fairways and blaze away without considering the angle required on the approach, they’re also perhaps overlooking the use of shaping their drives into the slopes to counter. The greens and approaches also require in depth thinking, there’s places you just cannot go and pins you have to play away from, there’s also countless opportunities to use slopes to access pins which again required shaping the approaches with draw and fade towards these slopes and using backstops where required. I used default ball all four rounds and it was important to know what putts you could attack and which ones required lagging. Sometimes you had to purposely leave wide to avoid catching a slope but again that’s just course management and damage limitation. I really like the challenge this course presents, it’s subtle and nuanced

Chat about your rounds here.
Apologize for the rain bug - R4 is supposed to be sunny. Apparently if you exit out after R3, load up another course, then return and play R4 you may get sun (not confirmed). Did not intend for more than 1 rain round - I would never do that to you all on purpose!
R4 is sunny if you got to another hole on another course (I went to the first tee of TST, didn't even waggle the club) then exit and go back. I saw this same issue in 2K21. I'm sure this has been said in the 8 pages prior but TLDR for me right now. Onward!

Greetings! Former Mayor of Triple C and CC-B here. I envision campaigning for office in a much lower CC tour this time around. Mayor? Councilman? Janitor?
+7, +3, +1, -2 = +9
Need 4 more rounds of QS but it is what it is.
Onward!

So far in rnd 1, 8 Xboxers in the top 82 scores, just about says everything everbody already knew.......... Just to balance that, only about 25% of players play on Xbox (give or take) and a lot of our best players have either jumped ship to the dark side or given up because of the issues. Not saying there isn't still a difficulty gap (because I don't know!) but it does seem from the early feedback that at the very least it's less than in was in the last game.

Rd 1.
Poor bird putts, good clutch par putts
Some good chip and putt scrambles but some terrible seconds or thirds into all par 5s.
1 bird, 1 bogey.
Level par.

Overall, wasn't too disappointed with how I played. I know I left quite a few out there, but those shots will come. -24 for the first real tournament of the new game. Hope it gets me into a high CC spot.

Pretty calm conditions for round 2, took a double early on but scrambled back to -2 for the trip & event.
Starting to get the hang of shaping things again, probably could have had a couple more birdies, but for me this is a solid start.
T-617 or so out of 1100 competitors so far posted in rd1 - If I make the top 2/3, I'd be thrilled !
