Issues with 2K23 designer

     I've noticed a few problems with the 2K23 designer. I'm using it on a PS4.

       1. I'm working on a course that's around 7,200 yards but the designer is showing total yards as 6,500.

       2. There is no longer a "play unpublished course option" So I'm not sure if I publish the course, it will show the correct yardage. Also, I used to like that option because it allows you to see the cut scenes and you can             make sure how your course will display.

       3. I've also had issues when adjusting the lighting. At times the screen goes black, and the ocean turns neon green. Also, the thumbnail pic is just a series of pixels. 


           Hopefully a patch will address some of these shortfalls. I've noticed a lot of designers are publishing their courses with slow greens. The crazy ball concept has really made a mess of things.

You can still play unpublished courses...they just hid the option for it behind a ton of menus.

This is how it works on PS4:

Go to a local round

Go to the course select hub...the one that shows the official courses and lets you select more filters

Select "More Filters"

Go into any of the course select filters (Recently Added, HCP Rated, etc.)

On PS4, press the L1 trigger...not sure what it's technically called on other controllers.

Way at the bottom of the list that pops up is "Unpublished", click that and your unpublished courses show up for play

Wow I guess that was buried. Thanks for the tip, that was very helpful. I had mentioned that my 7,200 yd. course was showing 6,500 yds in the designer. Now in the "unpublished course" stats it's showing 7,886 yds so it's a bug that needs to be fixed. I will say that there are some tweaks in the designer that I really like. I hope that they will continue to resolve some of the current issues in the game.

L1 is LB on XBox.

It's like they meant to hide this filter, and they hid it from one screen, but forgot the other.

I am on PC/M/K and I cannot figure out what key to press to get this option to appear; any ideas?

I use the mouse to click on the filter icon.

Can someone tell me if there's a fix for this bug or if they've encountered it in the past and I should just shoot myself now to save myself the heartache of losing this course?

So it looks like Page Up/Down is now back in the designer for K&M users.
Still waiting on arrow keys.

You can also play unpublished courses offline. Not sure if that was always the case.

Yea, it was always there, but they moved it to an obscure spot deep in the menu systems of course selection.
