My first project I’ll be doing on 2K23 will be Makoyi Golf Club, set in the Rocky Mountains of the US.

Here’s how I try to start out a project before just diving into the design tool.  This gives me a real good baseline and makes decisions a lot easier along the way.  See updates as I go!















Also, I don’t want to clutter the Completed Courses thread anymore; I have ported Falling Rock C.C. (Tour) version onto 2K23.  This was the version used on the Elite tour last year.

Wow level of planning is impressive. I normally just start building and making it up as I go, maybe I should plan my courses out first...

Are those hole photos reference photos of similar kinds of holes that you're going to build, from real courses?

Yes I Google Earth courses, mostly local (I live in Alabama) that I’ve played and I don’t exactly “copy” them, but use them as inspiration. I’m not trying to reinvent the entire wheel you know?
