Am i missing something, or can you no longer play “my unpublished Course” in the game. This was the best way to play test pre published courses in 2k21 It's now a much more convoluted process, but you can play unpublished courses... This is how it works on PS4: Go to a local round Go to the course select hub...the one that shows the official courses and lets you select more filters Select "More Filters" Go into any of the course select filters (Recently Added, HCP Rated, etc.) On PS4, press the L1 trigger...on XBox, it's the LB button. Way at the bottom of the list that pops up is "Unpublished", click that and your unpublished courses show up for play Here's a video sandgroper did, showing how to do it on PC: |

I am unable to add additional pins to greens. I can click add pin, but when I try to lay it doesn't work. I hear a noise like i cant lay it there. I downloaded the update yesterday, haven't been able to add a pin since.

I am experiencing a lot of crashing, the dreaded "Blue Screen of Oh Sh** I Didn't Save My Work!"....PS4. Also, I was playing with the fences this morning, and when I went to "change fence style" it wouldn't change it to the fence I selected. It seemed to be changing it to 2 styles in front, so I tested a few more times, but there was no rhyme or reason to the fence it selected...and then I got another Blue Screen crash. I have the 'swap to wrong fence' glitch as well - menu references in that function are definitely off.
It's as if someone accidentally added a keystroke here & there in the code without realizing it.
Notice when picking wind speed for a playtest in designer, it now shows the actual 'name' of that variable instead of just 'low-medium-high-etc'.

I also saw this fence swap glitch... it seemed to be the only way I could find a color other than green for the canvas fence (I saw the blue canvas fence). Is green the only color option we have in 2k21 or am I just stupidly missing something? In the courses I ported from 2k21, the other colors ported over fine so I know they must be embedded somewhere in the code of the game. |

Had the fence swap glitch as well. Also had a weird one where i had the round elevation brush and when I increased it in size it only increased along 1 axis so it just turned into a skinny oval the larger I made it.
Is anyone finding weird blobs of fairway sticking out of the fairway splines?

my 2 cents,and this is just me talking.the way i see it is the designer is the single most important thing in this game,right after game play of course.if 2k dosent see this asset as being the main thing that has kept this game going,then they need to reevaluate there prioritys.this game would have never risen to the heights its achieved,without the designer IMO.cause if you took the designer away,what have you got left.a decent golf sim with very little replay attraction.i know i would never buy the game again if they took the designer out.and i dont think im the only one either.2k needs to listen to the community designers or i think they may loose it all.dont get me wrong i really like some of the things they have done with game play,but its not enough if they dont move forward with the design aspect of this game.its the heart of this game.wake up 2k!
2 years of development and we get this POS architect.

I literally only bought ‘21 for the designer. As for ‘23, I can’t even use the designer using K/M.

It's all very frustrating. All I can say is that we have flagged these issues (and repeatedly flagged similar issues over the last six months) with 2K/HB, as well as the adverse effect this is having on the design community. They should be aware of them, but no guarantee of any fixes.

On PC with a PS4 Controller, compared to the 2K21 Designer, this is currently crap. Hardly any new assets. Pretty lame effort on HBS' part. Multiple freezes and crashes. Freezes for the golfer will occur while playtesting. Hitting a normal shot, it will register as a Very Fast, then select Rewind Shot....then the Golfer will freeze. The only way to resolve is to go back to Edit, then back into playtesting. Crashes will occur after exiting playtesting and attempting to enter the Landscaping Tools and crash (happening around 10% of the time). Bugs Have gotten to the build of the 2nd hole, went to the green, selected Pin 1, selected Add Pin, picked a location on the green and hit X and nothing happens. Restarted the course and nothing. Restarted the game and nothing. Junk! Never a problem adding 4 pins to 18 greens in 2K21. Not sure how I can finish a full course design if I can't add Pins. How did this pass HBS' QA Department  Bug Can't find a way to Tilt golf carts, like in 21, so they can look natural going uphill/downhill. Deleted feature from 2K21 When working on a Spline and selecting Smooth & Sharpen, then select Smooth Spline, then hit X, sometimes (about 15% of the time) nothing happens until you hit X twice. Bug. I'll update as I find more..... |

The 2K23 Designer is a POS compared to 2K21. Also, if someone knows a way to Tilt Golf Carts (like we could in 21)...please let me know. It would suck to find out that they maybe have deleted this feature. |

I've just noticed that all canvas walls except for the green one have been removed. I find the white and black canvas walls really useful for making clubhouses. Disappointing
