Morning all
Just wondering if any lidar enthusiasts have started creating lidar plots in 2k23? Does it work the same as previous - i.e. create in 19 then import to 21 then to 23?
Also just as an aside, I've got an under-specced laptop - does the designer work ok with an underperforming video card? I'm not looking to play on the laptop, but wouldn't mind putting together some lidar courses if possible.
Thanks.

It’s very laggy with LiDAR on an underpowered GPU, can still be laggy with LiDAR on quite a lot of GPUs to be fair in comparison to planting a non LiDAR course

You can actually skip 2k21 and take the 2019 course files once you have saved it in 2019 and drop them into the 2k23 folder and they moved the courses folder for 2k23, it can be found at ...
C:\Users\YOUR NAME WILL BE HERE\Documents\My Games\PGA TOUR 2K23\Courses

I am unable to locate the 2K23 courses folder, as it is not located where BaconJunkie1 listed. Anyone have an idea where it might be?

I think it only appears the course folder once you have created a blank course file in 2k23 first.

I thought that was the issue as well but I have created a autogenerated course and already published multiple imports from 2K21. Still can’t seem to find the folder where it is saving them.

No sure don’t I think I may be running into a one drive issue, that’s what it seems to be, saving over there vice on the actual machine.

I've been updating a few courses into 2K23 and mainly doing most of the work in 19 where possible. I still find it the easiest to work with. Useful to then move into 2K21 if you want to add coloured canvas walls or trailers etc and then into 2k23 to add walls fences. You really need to play around with the new fence splining tool to make sure you don't end up with wooden fences that bend in the middle of a stave as they look so wrong and very ugly.
