Par 5 starting to work back to the coast. All holes are inland until this point. Huge waste bunker short right. Bunker behind requires about 310 to clear leaving a much shorter 2nd shot and eagle look. A lay up short left of the bunkers will leave either a blind or semi blind and longer approach in Your view of approach if you can play over the right bunker (300/310ish to clear). You'll get a lot of run out with the firm downhill fairway

This is the most fun way to do it, create some terrain and "try to find the holes/course." Haven't done that in a bit, maybe w the new game will give it shot again.

I think i'm gonna work this one into 2 courses on 1 plot. Minimal planting and port it over to 2k21 to see how the planting changes.

Would anyone be keen to play a round here if I publish a Beta for some feedback on what could maybe be improved? Let me know if so, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a fun project. Hey man, thanks a lot! really appreciate it. course is listed as per below; Course was released on PS4 incase your on another platform and it isn't showing. There will be a lot of unfinished tee boxes etc it's more just the playability and theme etc and just general feel around the track. Also not sure with hole layout too. Not sure if the 18th should be the 1st or the 18th. Was done with intention of being 1st but after i deleted the old 1st hole it then became my 18th and kind of works? Any general feedback is appreciated dude but please be brutally honest ha! cheers

Looks great! Will have a look at the plot for sure Thanks! i went through a spell of looking at Aus/NZ courses and kinda fell in love! it's hard as a lot of the courses are covered with heather but with the rendering issues the game has, it's hard to frame them well as they can be bald looking from afar especially around bunkers/waste bunkers. i think purposefully planting the course will be tough and i'm still undecided on the amount of bunkers/waste bunker/dunes i want to incorporate. Will add tree's etc but thinking to leave until 23 is out as i assume the planting options will change? i'm probably gonna work on it for a while as i aspire to do 2 courses on the plot sorry for the ramble but these are some of the current thoughts. (Went on a RedDeadRedeption 2 binge the other week so took a week off to bring some fresh enthusiasm) any feedback will be really appreciated pal! have a great weekend

Depending on how burying trees for bare patches work in 2k21, you could fill in some of the space with waste areas and wild sandy areas and then just semi submerge some trees with just the tops showing and then surround them with lone grass and plants to create some visuals that fill up the area. If it’s an open and wild course sometimes you don’t need to over plant as the contours and green complexes are the focus, just use wooded areas on the far perimeters. Really like what I’m seeing so far though, the bunker sculpting is excellent and the green complexes are really interesting. If you decide to go planting mad, have a look at Lost Preserve for an example, the use of those desert grasses sporadically gives that long range rendering and then adding normal long grass around that looks great up close. I used a similar method for my fescue on the country club just search “TCC, Brookline (US Open)” it’s a method that works great on long range views and rendering. Do you design on PC or Console?

Do you design on PC or Console? yeah i'm hoping for some meaningful changes. Suppose i don't know enough of the devs capabilities to have expectations. yeah i agree, a lot of these course irl don't particularly have mass plant areas but on the game it's not as easy to have blank space look great. Not sure whether the textures help either. i'm about to have a sit down and watch through LP and Elstead Heath videos for some inspo and will certainly have a round on them both. Think i already played your TCC but will certainly have another outing. i'm a ps4 designer pal. In process of buying a house and maybe looking to go PC when that happens. What about yourself? PC i assume?
