Same way as for this game - you'll see 'Import Legacy Courses' under the Designer tab. Just open that and there they are. For TGCTours, we'll likely implement a 'Port Courses' feature on your Designer Profile page so people don't resubmit previously reviewed courses.

How much alteration to a course would be allowed for porting before it would need to be re-reviewed?

How much alteration to a course would be allowed for porting before it would need to be re-reviewed? Almost never happens. Good example: I renovated MattF's Burgundy Bluffs, which had about 7 new holes, all greens redone and lots of other bits and we decided that shouldn't be added unless a scheduler specifically asked for it.

Is it known yet if it will be possible to port an "unpublished" course design from 2k21 to 2k23 ? For example, Im working on a new design, but it wont be ready to publish prior to the release of 2k23. If it cant be ported as unpublished I guess the solution is to publish it it 2k21 as a beta version, then port it across, and complete the design in 2k23.
Any thoughts ?

You’ll need to publish it and then port it over. Best to give it some random stupid name when you publish it

We also should note that the assets have changed. Tree models look different (see: better), so there might be some issues when porting - especially if you've buried trees - so you'll undoubtedly have some cleanup work to do in the new game.

Hi Ben, I tend to tidy up a few things on my courses each time I port to the new games (all RCRs), do I need to resubmit to TGCT or will they just remain approved? Another question, I did The Country Club, Brookline and submitted as a members routing but then did a much improved version with the US Open routing which I then had rejected (members routing was not as well planted and very easy, albeit rated Tour Worthy) Can I just submit the US Open version next game? I feel it has more potential to be on TST than the members routing

Guess I’ll be in the designer for 4 months before hitting a shot then 🤣🤣
