Can’t tell you how many that I started to do, get through 8,10, even 18 holes and won’t finish or publish because I don’t think it is good as my previous course or courses. Some people do and that’s fine. Most times though I’m trying to work on something new and want to practice new design ideas that may not work on the current project but will down the line.

From your courses I see that you on a console (Congrats on the successes that you've had) so the way we do courses might vary somewhat since I mostly do LiDARs but if you are having moments where you lose inspiration to design and we all do, I must have 25 courses in varying stages of completion in my course backup folder and I work on as many as 3-4 courses at a time so if I get bored/have paralysis, I'll work on one of the other courses. First off you need to make sure you are fully invested (sounds like that might be the issue, been there, done that) in a project then stick with it ... Yale took me over a year off and on, just hang in there. Set mini goals for a design session, say you are just going to do tees/tee boxes, or run your cart paths to make sure they are correct and flat, or do your pin locations, or make sure your fairways are straight or how you want them, or ... well you get the picture. MANY times I'll start doing one thing and hours later I've knocked off several To Dos off my list.
Join or build a group of designers that you can bounce ideas off of each other, have them beta test for you and you theirs ... Discord is a great app to do this on. I have a great group and they are priceless to me.
