Bighorn Canyon is a fictional course set on the border of Montana and Wyoming. Adjacent to the National Recreation Area, the course straddles a rocky creek that feeds into the mighty Missouri River, which gives the area its name. This rustic course plays between stands of conifers, shrouded in the haze from nearby wildfires. If you can see them, the mountains protect the valley majestically.
This course was originally started in TGC 2019, but I figured out how to import it into 2k21 without uploading, so it's an older design of mine, featuring some newer design tricks. Enjoy the pics - course should be out in the next two weeks...
The dogleg right 4th hole features a split fairway that rises over a boulder field and is guarded by numerous large bunkers.
The 6th hole is a downhill par 3 that juts into the creek. The green slopes from left to right, so holding a shot often requires a draw, precariously hanging the tee shot out over the water.

A river runs through it - the par-4 opening hole at Bighorn Canyon. A drive just short of the cross bunker offers the best approach into a green that falls away to the left.

The 12th green at Bighorn Canyon. A drive placed between rocky bunkering and large boulders will leave a short shot into a deceptively tough green on this short par-4. Shots over the green will fall into a sunken, overgrown meadow.

** Tentative release later this week! **
The neighboring 13th & 15th (foreground) greens, perched above High Lake at Bighorn Canyon.

Thanks - bit of a delay, but it's nearly done. Have a new rescue puppy who has been recovering from surgery so I can't always dial in and focus on the work like I'm used to...
