Really enjoyed my round on the Ash Meadows course. You have captured the subject environment of this Southern Nevada wildlife sanctuary very well and blended an excellent course in to it.
The modern architecture of the clubhouse and surrounding homes/chalets blends well in the environment and is likely suitable for the local climate with the air gap between the false roof and the actual roof in the warmer months of Summer. You seem to have a talent for interesting modern architecture on course, which I like.
I like that there is a bit of a walk from the 18th green to the clubhouse to allow for a bit of a chat and reflection of the round before reaching the 19th.
Great course and and hope it does well in the NT comp.

misterklaw - Cheers for the kind feedback. These bunkers are actually super easy to do. It's just roughed up shapes and I just play with them until I think they sit naturally. I only have to spline the ones that sit close to the edge of the greens and then I use the shapes to rough them up as well anyway. Hope that helps. sandgroper - Thanks again mate. I can't say I agree about blue being better as there's 2-3 holes I really don't like all that much but glad you enjoyed it all the same. Avakrac - Haha. That edit at the 9th was hilarious. Well done ya silly prick Dropping C bombs as well - that playthrough had it all. tassietiger - Welcome to the forums. The more Aussies the better and there's a few on here like Sandgroper and Avakrac in this thread. Hit me up if you need help when you step foot in the designer. Love the Warnie avatar too. @knightsbridge32- Thanks for the play. Great to hear you enjoyed it. Play the black version on maxed out conditions and you might not Rickster - Appreciate the support and love ot hear you noticed the architecture. I generally enjoy the challenge of building stuff like that so well picked up about the rooftops. lostsoulsforeva - Cheers Jay. Appreciate the support. I plan on playing some more of the other NT courses in the next couple of weeks and will definitely drop in to Louisiana. geordieboy85 - Thanks mate. I'm not holding my breath tbh but I really enjoy the challenge of the NT more than any of the others. I'll drop in next door to California and give yours a play soon. The pictures look really good.

Had no idea the "Right Honourable" Walter White was a member of the R&A. What a thrill it must have been for ole' Heisenberg to hand over the claret jug to young Smithy. Hell of a party with a jug full of meth!
All I can say is... you bloody bewdy!

Played the Black...absolutely loved it. Looking forward to having a go at the Blue course to complete my 36-hole Nevada getaway.
Good luck in the contest!

Heisenberg How does this version differ from the Ash Meadows, Black? Black being the longer and I assume overall tougher the the NT version? Or are some of the hole designs different between the two?

Congrats bud on the National Treasure contest win!, very well deserved! Look forward to your designs in 2k23. Thanks mate. I'm alsmost certain I won't be putting out anywhere near the same number of courses as the current game (kinda over it) but we'll see what the designer has to offer. Appreciate you not entering the NT comp too Heisenberg How does this version differ from the Ash Meadows, Black? Black being the longer and I assume overall tougher the the NT version? Or are some of the hole designs different between the two? The version I entered for the NT comp is basically just middle tees and slower greens. So very little difference tbh. I have just found in the past that entering a plat/elite difficutly course for comps can give reasons for judges to not like something that might seem 'unfair' or similar. That's the only reason for the different courses. The Ash Meadows, Blue course is a completely different one though and is basically CC level (and has a few shitty holes imo).

Ah yes, similar to how Sattler Heads Blue was the CC contest course but Sattler Heads Black was the better version. (Which BTW is easily one of my top 10 favorites from 2k21.)
I'll keep playing the Ash Black version then. T like the longer tees and faster greens. I'm not a pu$$y judge but I am a critic.
You should totally keep designing man, all your courses are in the top tier IMO but I get it if it's not your thing anymore.
