Future 2K golf game ideas

Ideas for future games.

Each course should feel like an open world area.

drive golf carts around courses. Some be restricted to cart paths (tour courses) and others allow you to drive on the courses (public).

Have clubhouses be able to walk in and set tee times. Buy clubs or enter tournaments.

Walk the courses as you play with friends/ or career mode.

Have a caddy with you, giving you pointers on how to best play a shot the better the caddy the better the info.

Pga tour: have groups of three when you play like in real life.

Have certain amount of fans follow through the course. The more popular a player is the more fans they have around them. Except on like the first hole and 18th hole or something like that.

It should be so you can see other players in front of you playing. It would give such a great atmosphere.

Better crowd reaction to match winning shots or tee offs.

Be able to create tournaments with up to 150 players. Select multiple courses like say 15 or so.

Have attributes for each player like any other sports game. And have special abilities like long drives, amazing putting, chipping, bunker player, ect.

Abillity to create your own clubs.

Be able to use ranges like in real life.
Mini games on ranges.

Long drive competitions
Precise target competitions
⬆️ Both of these can even be in career mode.

Sponsor event competitions to get extra earned income.

A realistic scrambling game that relies on feel for distance rather than cycling full chips and splash with different clubs. The game should cater for sim as well as arcade, putting is excellent with no grids but the short game scrambling is really poor compared to it.
Opponent's balls not marked till close to the green to add to realism.
Texas Scramble
Matchplay tournaments for societies.
More options to lock out settings for societies, ie haptic feedback aid, follow cam, ball labels, ghost balls etc
Local play PGA Tour seasons
Realistic penalty drops 
Cross play or at least cross platform leaderboards.
Xbox tempo issues sorted out.
Realistic heavy rough around greens
Option to have different custom bags saved 
More diverse rough options, even Sega Megadrive PGA Tour had medium rough.
Decent replays, what we have now is awful

I am sure he is aware of this Bob (at least I hope so), as someone who regularly posts and has had replies from HB staff on their forum it is good for me to read some ideas on this thread.

There are past threads like this and it amazes me that at no stage a developer has actually sought to make a “golf club” game anything like a golf club.

Atmosphere in every golf game since leaderboard is me turning up to an empty course and teeing it up all by myself. Weird that no one has had a shot at making it “different” to the same old same old.

I’m not sure what is actually feasible but I think there is an opportunity to shake things up a bit.

Anyone else find it weird that we have a choice of dozens of different models of clubs but no choice of brand or type of ball?
