Hi
I'm hoping to get my old club in using lidar but don't have TGC2019 so was wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to get a blank .course file to use in the TGC Tools.
Any help would be great.

So you want to design your course in 2k21 from a Lidar file from TGC 2019 is that correct, Just curious what is the course?

Yes, i have the lidar, i have the OSM, just need the TGC 2019 course file to feed into chad's tool. Think there's then a python script i can use to avoid having to push it back in TGC afterwards. The coruse is Pryors Hayes in Cheshire, UK. Nothing special, its as much about the journey as the destination - I've modded lots of games in the past so want to give this a go, but at the same time appreciate how many hours and days it will sink.

Looking at the Defra Download site for the UK there is some 2015 data, but if that's the case it will not cover the 1st green which has been added since that date, but that could be worked around if the rest of the course is there. Getting an Openstreetmap error at the moment when trying to produce a File in Chad's Golf Tool but will keep trying. This bit of the reply got to be honest i have no idea what that means. Imported course File into TGC 2019 without the Trees. It is 2016 data so just taking a quick look the osm bunker on the 2nd is correct now but the terrain got the bunker from the 2016 data, so a bit of work would be needed. If you want the course file just send a private message or post it here or maybe someone else could help you more all the best great having UK courses in the game.
