TPC Dorado Beach East LiDAR

I've got 3 courses that are really close to dropping, Yale, Squire Creek and and this course. TPC Dorado Beach East is a past host course of the PGA's Puerto Rico Open and it checks a lot of the boxes for tour use.
Slope:135 / Rating 75.1  

"Robert Trent Jones, Jr.’s restoration of the historic East Course to its original version designed by his father, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., elevates a classic seaside course into a modern championship layout that challenges players of all skill levels. Mr. Jones lengthened the course by 700 yards stretching to a formidable 7,200 yards with many of the holes playing into a strong Caribbean trade wind. Greens were completely reshaped to match original features and planted with Champions Bermuda, creating incredibly fast and smooth putts. Bunkers were reshaped and filled with native beach sand. Although the East is considered a stern challenge at the Professional level, multiple tees provides a fun challenge for layers of all skills levels. Original panoramic sightlines to the Ocean were restored on 12 of 18 holes."

Really love this golf course IRL, excited to see it in the game. Always a fan favorite for my friends annual Puerto Rico golf trip.

It's a beautiful course but since you've been there then you know that I've put some 'lipstick' on her to make her even more 'purty' as you can see.  


Those hurricanes really did a number of this and the other courses there. I also have Coco Beach (formally Trumps) in the game but it needs a bunch of work due to it's end to end course length.

I find Coco Beach to be an incredibly boring golf course. An ocean course with no ocean views. Theres a couple of interesting features but they're much too few and far between for it to be enjoyable. So many straight par 4s with bunkers on either side.

I was really disappointed too, I would have thought the views to be great being as the course is out on that peninsula but nope.
