This week we are at a bit of an easier course for plat, but a good one. @alejandroacantilado is a rather prolific designer, but this is his first course to make it up to plat after he redid it a bit and made a tour version! Known for mainly making Long Island style golf courses, this fits into that vein, doing a lot with a rather flat plot (which can be very hard to do and make interesting!) I hope you enjoy yourselves out there! Next week we are in Canada at a very Stanley Thompson - esque course that I'm sure you'll enjoy (watch out for them matty greens) and then we're onto the hardest event of the year!

Hello.
This course definitely felt harder than last week for me, but maybe it was the conditions that made it tough.
Anyway, after an underwhelming first round of -6 and a cold start into round 2 (six pars), I somehow managed to pull off a -8 on the back nine of round 2 in the very high winds. While this miracle might not get me out of the red, I still hope that this -16 through 2 is just enough to avoid (or rather: postpone) my demotion to Elite and keep me in single-demo-mark-territory.
Cheers and good luck all!
Kevin

Still here... I did not enjoy this week's course - and it showed... frustration about the greens got to me and, consequently, played way too fast... -15 and red thingies coming my way Best wishes, Frans

No demo mark for me thanks to that clutch (read: lucky) back 9 in round 2! Whooohoo

There may not be a worse feeling then seeing that red cut line directly above your name.
If there is, it's when you lip out an eagle chip on 18 in round 2 to not get above that red line.
Ugh.
