Dear TST enthusiasts, This week, like the IRL PGA Tour, we visit Colonial Country Club, located in Ft. Worth, Texas; the site of the PGA Tour’s annual Charles Schwab Challenge. Colonial Country Club plays to a modest distance of 7082 yards and a par of 70, but with firm, fast conditions and a stiff Texas breeze, the course can still provide a challenge for even the most skilled players. Therefore, I've asked the GreensKeeper to water the greens before the tournament starts but the sun and the breeze still firm up the course as we progress through the week. Luckily for you monsters, the wind dies down a bit on Sunday but I'm still awarding chocolate chip cookies to whoever manages to stick it close to the pin on hole 16 in round 4! Good luck and have fun, Frans

Well proof it was ever needed of why I'm down in the cellar with the Snead boys. A steady but unspectacular Round 1 of -4 was followed by a shambles in Round 2 with a couple of strips down to speedo's and lucky to get +2.
Thankfully nowadays we have the weekend to salvage some pride!!

So all done for the week. Pride salvaged? Not really though I felt I played pretty well but only limped to 5 under. Think you need to find a nemesis more suited to your ability Mr Vandelay Art Vandelay Intrigued to how I will fare in Snead this week. Didn't feel it was an easy course so you never know.

-3 teeing off on the 9th hole in rd 1. Took a 9. +3 teeing off on 10 and the red fasts start. Got to +6 and had a very slow tee shot that found water. At that point, I'd had enough. Try again next week, I guess.

QQ. I'm travelling for work and won't be back until Thursday. Can I play my rounds Thursday onwards? And still make the lb? Are there any time constraints?

There will no longer be a website cut enforced because we need access to all four rounds' results for all players. However, the round deadlines will remain in place so the 2nd round must be completed prior to 4am UTC on Thursday of the tournament week. The website will still automatically withdraw players who do not complete R2 prior to the deadline and players who do not complete R4 by the finalize deadline (12am UTC on Sunday

Nice to be at the right end of a leaderboard for a change. I used to knock out my first 2 rounds, check the board a few days later to confirm I’d missed the cut and then checked out next week’s course.
Nowadays I’m having a look every day, seeing how my close rivals are getting on and battling to rise from Snead.
Far more interested in this than my CC flight where I’m resigned to another week of mid table mediocrity in a group of 150 players.
Big thanks to the Admin’s for finding a way for even us duffers to compete and have a lot of fun.

The struggle is real this week. Poor 1st round and stopped half way through the 2nd last night. Didn't have my True Sim head on.

Haha, Thanks Ben. Not very often I quit through a round but will be better for it tonight. I found it a tough course. It’s one of my favourites, another Jeff hoosierhoops24 masterpiece. I had 2 rounds over par, not done that in a while. Struggled to -5 for the week. It’s not for girls 😉
