Hi everyone I'm new to designing. Half way through my 3rd course. Want to do an island course. I chose Tropical theme and have sunk water all around the Plot edges to around -150yds. I thought that would remove background and create an island course, but when I completed 9 holes & uploaded, the Tropical background hills are still there. How do I creat an island course, like the many I've seen in this game, on the Tropical theme Plot? All assistance is greatly appreciated

Settings --> Environment Pick your theme - Tropical Then you pick your backdrop, The island one is the first one on the second row.

IMO ... This is a top 5 video that new (or any) designers should watch when doing your plot. Once you get that method down, you can take the surface to where it's like 5' above the water table which makes it much easier to do a tropical course

This is way early in the layout step but you can see what it looks like using that plot technique and lowering the surface to 5' above the water table, use the fuzzy brush to taper the water edges

Hey chewbucca01 I just published a tropical island course about 2 weeks ago called Moana Surf.Check it out and if there are things there you like, let me know. I'm not sure what questions you have but I will answer any questions you might have if you send me a note.
