We're only a week away from the second plat major (and last years plat major course is operating as the qualifier this week!) so I thought we could do with a different kind of course this week. Bragg Highlands by PithyDoctorG is a personal favorite of mine and in a lot of ways was ahead of its time when it was released. Sporting what I consider still to this day to be the best use of fringe in the game (yes, those large grids off the green are fringe, they roll and bounce like 109 greens), the ground and how you play off it intensely matters here. There are also plenty of fairways that can eject balls but luckily there are large forgiving swaths of light rough around them. All this leads to a very unique course that weirdly feels harder than it actually plays. I expect rather good scores to pop up on the leaderboard this week. Let's see if they are lower than Kingsley! Next weeks course isnt crazy hard for a major course (that's being saved for the us open) but it's still harder off the tee than most!

Hello.
I tested positive today unfortunately, so I thought I'd get my rounds in quickly. Will miss the cut as well at -24, but at least no further damage. I even finished all four rounds and managed a nice -17 in R4 for a small confidence boost.
Good luck all and see you next week!
