Hi Guys, have only just joined the community and am new to the game. Am using recently purchased 2019 but have just now bought 2K21. I put my details in to the system for playing competitions and am on the list for the Tin Cup at le Playa del diablo. But where do i now go to actually play it please? i click on my name on the leaderboard list and it just takes me to my profile, i click on the course name which brings up course details, lol. i came out and went into the 2019 game and searched for the course name and it returned no results/ Any ideas please? I'm sure i'll be ok once i have played a coup[le and get used to the forum and system etc. Is it because i am trying to access thru 2019? maybe i should load the new version i have just bought and access thru there?

Hey Pete, good to have you in the community! If I'm understanding your question correctly - you need to go into Online Societies and search for the term "TGC"...or I guess you could search for "Beer".
Join the society, and once in the society, you should be able to start playing the event. So the course/tournament is tied to the TGC society, if that makes sense.

Yeah ta buddy.
After downloading 2K21 i am extremely disappointed with it! lol
Compared with 2019 the new game i think is very cartoonoish! The colours of the greens and fairways are not natural, most controls are now via keyboard and i really dont like it at all. Dont know why they just didn't enhance 2019 as it looks much more professional and more real life. I sent it back to STEAM and got a refund. Amgoing to stick with 2019. Is there a tour system attached to that Brenelan? I am going to stay on this forum for now anyway. Can you play thru 2019 in the beer league for instance?

2K21 was my first step into this particular golf game, so I had no experience with 2019. I also play on console, so completely with a controller...I think you'd have the option for that as well, so you didn't need to go keyboard? Not really sure, and sounds like it's too late regardless.  My understanding is that you can only play in the TGC Tours events with the 2021 version of the game, but maybe some others here could confirm. |

Thank you mate. Am 64 years old and find a controller difficult! lol.
Will carry on with 2019. Am enjoying the designer mode tremendously though. Have been in building trade and have experience as a surveyor. first course Ragnoroc heights was computer generated which i published straight away a few weeks ago so a bit plain.my 2nd, which i will be publishing soon, The Kattegat, is much better. Only mistake i made on it was computer generated holes so you have these mown areas up the side of a mountain! lol
Have gone back to tutorials and found out how to generate holes from scratch now. Enjoying it, good times! Speak later maybe, thanks again.
