A couple first looks at Montana! I will be going with the single tree planting strategy taking inspiration from the planting on Hautluce (b101 ) and Da Yooper (@trayys) to create big sightlines as most courses I have looked up in Montana are pretty much just flooded with pine trees and big sightlines. So far I have 9 holes laid down but still have lots of sculping and planting to do but enjoying the progress so far!

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
