We're on the North Shore of Minnesota, Lake Superior as a backdrop... taking inspiration from Split Rock Lighthouse...  1st hole with the 2nd in the background... and 10 over to the left with the lighthouse in the background...  |

I live here in Minnesota, and I've been to Split Rock Lighthouse many times and I have to say, that first pic looks incredible!!! I wanted to use that as a backdrop for a course one day......you beat me to it! I'm not one to usually give suggestions, but when looking at the bunkering, I think a simpler shaped bunkers for this region might look better (think rugged, jagged edges) and a toned down sand color maybe......It's just an opinion, looks great, really look forward to it!!  |

Hey thanks for posting… glad I’m on the right tracks… I’ll consider your comments on the bunkering - but pretty deep into it with this style… one of the features of the course is the layering of bunkers and that works well with the more McKenzie style I think … |
