We're on the North Shore of Minnesota, Lake Superior as a backdrop... taking inspiration from Split Rock Lighthouse... 1st hole with the 2nd in the background... and 10 over to the left with the lighthouse in the background...

I live here in Minnesota, and I've been to Split Rock Lighthouse many times and I have to say, that first pic looks incredible!!! I wanted to use that as a backdrop for a course one day......you beat me to it! I'm not one to usually give suggestions, but when looking at the bunkering, I think a simpler shaped bunkers for this region might look better (think rugged, jagged edges) and a toned down sand color maybe......It's just an opinion, looks great, really look forward to it!!

Hey thanks for posting… glad I’m on the right tracks… I’ll consider your comments on the bunkering - but pretty deep into it with this style… one of the features of the course is the layering of bunkers and that works well with the more McKenzie style I think …
