It’s a sign baby…. finally a second golf cart in the designer!!!!!! Will you have to still put the bags in the cart? That is annoying. Of course it's just for looks. I wonder if the animals will do more than twitch in one spot. Be cool if a deer randomly can be seen crossing a FW. Has nothing to do with playing golf but a little more realism overall would be great. Like flagpoles with your country's flag waving in the breeze at the clubhouse. I could go on and on. Am hoping for a much upgraded version but not expecting it. |

I agree the things you say would make for more interesting visuals, but I do not want them implemented if they affect the gameplay in any way (i.e. lag or stutter). |

These tweets and such aren't aimed at us here...this is for those who might never consider a golf game, but saw a tweet with their favorite rapper, musician, etc. in it. While I wouldn't say it's depressing, it is just a bit of a waste for all of us who are more interested in actual gameplay changes and course designer upgrades, etc. Honestly, I would expect this is a post related to the soundtrack or something, as ScHoolboy Q is a rapper who does like to play golf. Yeah, I understand- I just worry about them forgetting about golf while worrying about all this nonsense Like -60 scores on sim golf?, I am praying we can have a game that represents sim golf and a short scrambling game that is in line with the real game,skill based not cycling through different splash shot clubs for distance and dart like accuracy. |

We need to get rid of the hope of getting a "sim" golf game peeps...I play golf in real life and for those of you here that do also, it's just IMPOSSIBLE to simulate a real life golf swing with a controller. There is so much that goes into a golf swing, that it's just not going to happen. They would have to make the game artificially difficult. I think we can all agree that's not going to be fun. They would have to implement hitting a shot "thin:, "fat", "shanks" etc.. and it would have to be random...no thank you. Lets just embrace the video golf game and accept the fact we are just awesome golfers shooting -10 or better  |

Iirc the press release mentioned a new control scheme -or that may have been EA - so who knows.. personally I feel the back and forward tempo system is starting to show its age. The frustrating thing for me is the game DOES allow for realistic scoring in a way that's not gimmicky or needs over the top course designs but there's no desire to go down that road from the community. It's totally fair enough but for me it feels like a massive vacuum to have no competitive scene on challenging settings with more realistic scores given the settings are there already. I know we have our own little group on Xbox who plays on legend true sim with the marker and vibration off and love it but it would be really cool to have it grow a little and have more of a buzz. Perhaps this new game will allow for it! |

It is not about total realism, if we were playing a golf simulator with launch monitor nobody here would be breaking par. We all want to play golf like a PGA pro, immersion is great for a sport game.. I mention sim about having more realistic outcomes and lies,splash is the most unrealistic shot in this game followed by short chipping. More difficult lies from heavy rough where you're penalised for poor shots. A sim mode in the new game could utilize poor lies more to make the shot more difficult. If heavy rough is punishing around the green you will think twice about aiming for that tucked away pin on the left and the danger of short siding yourself. The long game is pretty challenging on master and legend(for me anyway it is) but coupled with a more realistic scrambling game you are getting as close to sim with a basic controller as we can get.The putting with out grids is excellent way better than any other video game going back to Leaderboard on the C64. A similar method for chipping would be awesome I really do not like that backstop. |

If you are talking about your account then only way to lose it is to be perma banned or request if be deleted. Otherwise it just goes inactive after a period of time but is there ready to go if/when you come back in the future. |

Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed it the first time I saw the screenshot. Unfortunately what I did notice was divots on tee boxes again, water still looks underwhelming at best, textures look the same and the background looks identical. Very interested to see where and what changes have been made to the designer. |
