Hey all, As patlouvar, @mvpmanatee and others start some playthroughs of DL3.1 I thought we could throw DL3.2 out. For this contest we'll give a deadline of mid-May 5/15. We'd like to see a 9 hole loop on this one. We'd also like to see you route in a way that interconnects all the fairways. See overhead of Gamble Sands or St. Andrews. Not every fairway needs to touch each other but I should be able to walk my entire round without stepping off fairways, tees and greens (assuming I don't miss those) Any questions just shoot them in here and we will answer. Main focus on this will be how well you route your 9 holes. Make sure to include a couple par 3s and a couple par 5s.

No, look up the courses nick recommended, will give you a good idea of what the intention should be when designing. 👍🏽

2 quick questions patlouvar mvpmanatee : 1—I didn't follow last year's DL too closely, I know they started off with a point system, not sure how it ended... are there points being awarded this season, or just casual feedback/playthroughs etc. 2—For this 3.2, is a walk from a green to a tee along some sort of path acceptable? I'm not thinking every green to every tee, bit if the land is split into a couple sub-plots and there's a few walks of this nature? Thanks fellas, 🍸

Thanks fellas, 🍸 Yes there will be a point system No. I don’t want my feet to touch path or some other texture. Only soft fresh cut fairways and greens. Tee boxes should basically sit in the fairway. And if you got goofy thin fairways connecting greens to tees, well you failed. Sorry for any message brevity I’m currently watching the Masters!

Dl3.2 Crossers is published. Set in Spain with wide fairways, however I've tried to make angles in to greens important and water is in play on some holes. freternick

You're in! No applications at all, this is a pretty informal event.
