One of my friends is ready to quit the game over this issue his swing sticks at top of backswing in society play he says he has no issues in online alt shot STRANGE??? Is this a known problem

This was a known issue for PS users early after release which I think was sorted BUT....I'm an Xbox player (Xbox One X and Xbox Series S) and I do get that at times. I was feeling that it may be from me trying to swing too fast and maybe the game is like, "Nah that ain't happening bro!" but then doing what I perceive to be the same swing, it will then work.
I have had it where it's done this 2 or 3 times in a row and then when it finally swings it's always a very fast and then for swings thereafter, they are all either a fast or very fast. I find sometimes that turning the controller off, waiting a few seconds and then turning it back on seems to sort the issue for me so I don't know whether it's an issue my end or something in the game/server causing some sort of connection issue that is resolved by a reset of that connection.
I just hope the next game is NOT based on being server dependent as I feel that is the actual issue and I know that it is the cause of a lot of other issues in the game across all modes.

Apparently plugging the headset into the controller fixes this.
I’m on PS5 and I get this hitch in both online and offline right now.
I’m going to try this tonight after work and see if it fixes the problem.
I know it did for 2k21…

I’m going to try this tonight after work and see if it fixes the problem. I know it did for 2k21… I can confirm on my end that this method does in fact NOT work! Hard to play this game if you can’t swing the club… |
