I'm sure everyone is aware, but MLB The Show 22 releases tonight at midnight for early access. And Tuesday, April 5th, for regular release. It will also be available day 1 (April 5th) on Xbox Gamepass, so hopefully Xbox players give it a try. If anyone has followed the feature premier videos, SDS has really made a lot of great improvements to Franchise, March to October, and DD.

I am a long-time MLB The Show player, but I am very skeptical of the changes made to Franchise. They always say that trade logic and things are being adjusted, then it never seems to work out or things get wonky. The last MLB game I bought was The Show 20, and I'll likely just keep playing that one for the foreseeable future.
There were some interesting features added to March to October mode...it seems like they might be trying to migrate Franchise with MtO at some point in the series' future.

I’m still finishing off the transferred career of a 1B I started in RTTS back in 2014. One of best things about the game was being able to move RTTS careers along thru different game releases instead of having to start over again every year.
I’ve been using TS ‘19 to finish off this career. Presently in year 2031, he is the greatest player of all time and will be retiring soon I think. I’ll post his career numbers when he does.
I’ve played every pitch of every at bat of every game in his career. No sims. I do not field or run bases though, that sht is boring lol.
Just recently smashed career HR 715 and on a mission to erase cheater Barry Bonds from the record books. I am disappointed I haven’t been able to take his season HR down tho. Most I’ve got to was 67.
I have a pitcher that I created in TS 21 that I’ll pick up on more once my 1B retires.

i officially retired Phil McCracken from MLB21 yesterday. His cousin, Carlton Banks, has started his career in MLB22, after being drafted by the Braves and assigned to AA Mississippi. Carlton has been balling out in his 1st 25 games hitting close to .300 and leading the league in HR with 9 and doubles with 12. He's slow as a snail but for some reason, the coaches keep trying to get him to steal bases. He really likes his chances to make it to Atlanta as the parent club's LF situation is pretty weak. Time will tell if he's a perenial all star at the Major League level or another minor league legend, like his hero Crash Davis.

The game is fun but it needs to be renamed the 'CPU Foul Ball Simulator'. Seriously have lost days of my life throwing 12-15 pitch at bats.
