Week 26 - Puntacana Championship @ Wilde Venen

This week for those not suffering through Dygos, we are at Wilde Venen! A Holland based course by none other than Cottyuk . If you dont recognize that name, Cotty used to be a Plat player and a regular designer last year and would regularly crank out some truly maniacal plat courses.

Wilde Venen, on the otherhand, is probably one of Cotty's easier courses, featuring a lot of short 4s and gettable par 5s, but watch out, there are still a lot of snakey short putts with double break and lots of punishing slopes that can make this course play much harder than it looks in the right conditions. 

After this week we are heading towards a more difficult week in Texas before a certain course similar to one in Georgia shows up a week after

Still here... 

I know it's in the minnows tourney but I was still proud of my first round (-14).
Second round was terrible - missed half a dozen makeable putts (-7).

-21 halfway and hopeful to make the cut!

Hello.

Halfway through I'm at -21 as well, but my score splits into -9 and -12. As always, I played all four rounds in one session, and I'm not entirely sure if I should be happy with my -19 in rounds 3 and 4 or not. I felt like especially R3 might have played a little easier than my -9 suggests, and in R4 I had two 3-putt bogeys.

Either way I'm quite happy to have carded my 3rd -40 in a row.
