Warning minors. Please refrain from Googling "slippery lips". Play this course instead.

This course is really good. Tons of fun to play, hole 17 is one of the nicest par 3s I've seen in a while. Great job Ryno

I love oysters and I loved the Oily Oyster. Right up there with Ballentaint as my favourite of your designs. You'd be hard pressed to find a better closing 3 than here. Innisbrook has the Snake Pit and here we have the Oyster Farm... perhaps not quite as intimidating by name but just as testing. Good luck in the comp!

Some of the lips were too slick and I slipped out but most of those lips were just right and I got it in. This might be my favorite Ryno course!

I'm noticing a disturbing trend with course names... Very cool plot i.imgur.com/ouICxmE.jpgLets just call these sand mounds shall we? i.imgur.com/r3eRZcl.jpgAn environmentally sound clubhouse i.imgur.com/gGjmOAF.jpgReally liked the swampy area between 7 and 8 i.imgur.com/c5JNdLY.jpgOnce I figured out that the first tee was on the fairway I was good to go i.imgur.com/bpa2vrb.jpgVery good use of the sandbelt theme with the bunkers eating into the fairways and greens. Nice transition path across the waste area connecting the second tee box to the green complex. Huge risk/reward on 4 where I made it by the skin of my teeth, then screwed up the chip onto the green. Hit a peach into 6 and 7. Pulled my approach into 8 so badly that it worked out well. The lips were not my friend on 9. A stray piece of auto-gen grass on 10. I looked everywhere for the ghost break on 10 and couldn't see it, yet got caught out when it appeared coming back. Just like real life, aimed for the bunker on 11, as what I aim for I can't hit. More lips on 12. Treacherous/sucker pin on 14 - fell for it. So close on 15. Had to go for it on 16. Caught the false front on 17. 9 straight pars on the back 9, just couldn't get anything going. Really enjoyed my round and 5 stars!

Might not suck. Shame about that one piece of grass out of place in the fairway though.

Loved this apart from one hole. I'm sure you'll get over that.

Actually not that bad... might even get out of groups? Really enjoy your lowcountry courses and this is no different. Think standouts were 15 and 16, but I really liked that one with the plateau green as well.

The Oyster is all grown up and ready to take on all-comers, new and old. Some say she has lost a bit of her velvety smooth appeal, but this cougar can still purr. She will greet you like an old friend and even let you in through the back door. Take a stab at the Oily Oyster in 2k23 today!
