Welcome to Neenach Centennial, my entry into the TGC Tours World Cup of Design. The course measuring 7,629 Yards from the White tees (Tips) and 7,624 Yards from the Black tees (Some tee manipulation used on some holes) is set in the desert of Northern Californian in the town of Neenach where the course gets it name. The Course is actually a 27 hole complex with 2 other routings published (Black & White) and 1 more to follow in the coming days which will be called Neenach Centennial Gold. In real life the town of Neenach with a population of 800 people but has 30,000 houses planned for the next 10 years, which is actually to be called Centennial, so I imagined what the beginnings of this would look like if planned around a Golf Course complex. I hope you all enjoy your rounds and the challenge of firm fast greens and firm fast fairways.
Please see you YouTube link for a few course pictures.

Gave this a play this morning and really enjoyed it Allen. I defintely got a southern California desert vibe. The perched greens with deep chiping hollows around it made the approach shots a fun game of risk/reward going for tucked pins or hitting to the center of greens safely.

Thanks trailducker for the kind words. Went for something completely different from what I do normally. Not sure it will pay off with the World cup but glad I tried to be different anyway. All a learning curve whatever happens.

You certainly didn't play it safe :-) Thanks for playing it Wayne. Always appreciate it. Nope definitely took a risk, also on reflection might have picked the "Black" routing as its bit more fun. Live and learn.

Another solid course Allan. Lot of good hole designs and some very challenging shots at least for me anyway. Think 5 and 14 were my two favorite holes. Liked the atmosphere and think you did a good job with the planting especially using this theme which can be difficult.

The desert courses always relax me in this game. I think it's the feel of a lazy summers afternoon with the lads and a few cans of suds. Lovely routed plot i.imgur.com/gN95ojU.jpgCool clubhouse i.imgur.com/SeDuAUn.jpg and a great range to warm up i.imgur.com/7JnCeFZ.jpgReally good elevation and slopes to keep it interesting in a decent wind. Took a shortcut on the third that gave me a long chance for eagle. The houses around the course gave it a really nice perspective during the shots and pops of colour. The planting is minimalistic but very authentic to the desert plot. The lighting was just right and really gives a warm glow over the whole environment. I really enjoyed my round.

Thanks sandgroper for playing. I'm glad that you enjoyed your round. Yes it was so far offline I didnt see the shortcut possibilities in certain conditions, although there were a few shortcuts I noticed on a couple of other WC courses so 1 isnt too bad I suppose.😁 Will just have to make sure there isnt a shortcut possibilities on the current WIP. Thanks again for playing.
