Question on this: Does the course need to be Par 24 for the 6 holes or can it be any variation with the amount of Par 3s, 4s, and 5s used?

We have decided to set the par requirement at 22-26 for the 6 holes. I think this gives a pretty good range of variety while keeping a sense of normalcy. I apologize to anyone who already routed their 6 par 5s  No requirements on the number of par 5s and par 3s, but I do recommend trying to keep the variety relatively similar to what you see in a normal course. I would not really enjoy a course with 4 par 5s and 2 par 3s. We are judging this as we judge full courses anyway, and all courses get judged for their variety in distance, strategy and par. |

Has anybody else entered this, where do we look at the entries? Only you so far. Contest is open til April 1st. So most will post their course closer to then. Play throughs and feedback will be given early April and contest 2 will begin. |
