Figured I'd say something since heathlands are my absolute favourite courses to play IRL. I live about 10 minutes or so away from the Addington and have had the fortune of playing it a few times in the last few years. The bridges in the pics above are perfect and hit the vibe so damn well (I got to play Addington about three weeks ago).
As for the course it looks absolutely stunning, this'll surely end up as a strong contender right from the start

I can't imagine anyone could plant a heathland course any better than that. Just so well done.
As expected, the 3 of us in your group look forward to fighting it out for the one spot available.

Par 3 second is my favourite hole, just beautifully lit. Obviously the entire course is well lit, especially around the gorge, but that one in particular stood out to me. Very nice course.

Got to say not been the biggest fan of this designers courses in the past playing without the circle always found them a little too dark for my liking(could be my xbox setting), if you have been around since tgc1 you know the reasons why and its understandable. Loved this course felt so natural and just thought the lighting was outstanding loved my 2 rounds there if anything in my view will let it down was not a fan of the last par 5 (15th?) playing into the wind in my two rounds hated having to lay up (i did not lay up) with no run in to the green just my view. Overall thought it was outstanding and had so much fun loved the clubhouse as well fantastic course wish all courses were lit like this. On another side note i do hope in future HB/2k do something about draw distance with the objects just feels wrong on a natural looking course like this if you end up in grass and heather hard to see the golfer again not the designers fault a rare fictional favourite from me.

Just quality Ben. Gotta say, even though some of your par 3’s out here were stunners, I really really loved the par 5’s you put together this time around.
Also, since my home club here in the states also has bridges resembling the style Addington’s, gotta say they look really really good.

Another class course of course. Didn't have a lot of time this morning so played quickly but will be coming back to it for sure to soak more of it in. Ben the community wants you to put out one clunker just once so it feels better about itself  |
