This week we head to Rascalwood GC by tgctours very own Alfalfa mattf27. Matt was the captain of the winning team in this years dream team competition so a congratulations to him and the rest of his team and as part of his prize for winning, I don't get to say anything mean. So good luck everyone, have fun and enjoy what is a fantastic course.

Great layout. Not sure if my -22 after 2 rounds will hold up. I see scores going mega low for this one
Good choice/ very enjoyable

I was about to start my event and just happened to notice the weather report is not matching what I see for the settings on round 1 at Rascalwood. Is there a reason for this?

I was about to start my event and just happened to notice the weather report is not matching what I see for the settings on round 1 at Rascalwood. Is there a reason for this? the weather report gives what conditions you will play at some stage over the 4 days, it does not give them round by round. For example this week for kinetic it says, high, low, medium for wind, which means there is at least one round of each and one will be used twice, what round each is used, you won’t know until you play, or watch someone else play. It has just default for green speed, which means, all 4 rounds are played at that speed. The weather report is more a prediction of what could happen but not when it could happen.

Ahhh, okay. That makes a lot of sense. I made an assumption and was incorrect. Haha, thanks hmammoth. Still trying to get used to things.

Welp, there goes my other promo mark so back to zero I go! -19 with -9 / -10, might just squeak by with no demo marks but have to wait until tomorrow and then end of the week for the final standings to really be sure. Didn't play too badly, just lacked the final touches on the little details. Could have very easily found the missing strokes to make the cut in the many narrowly missed putts, or maybe if my tempo had been just a smidge better at times, maybe there? Also being bogey free on a low scoring week might help, risked on the second drivable 4 in round 1 and hit red fast -> no closer drop, re-teed to red slow and almost saved it, but not quite. Oh well, can't buy any consistency right now. Some weeks I kill it and look like I could be on Elite, other weeks I'm barely Kinetic level or should probably head back down. Let's see how long I can hang in here, I expected this to be the level where I might get stuck on and so far it looks like it so no problems there. Made it here against any of my expectations so I'm just trying to get as many weeks in as possible now. Fun course too, I might finish regardless. Cheers and good luck!
