This week on the kinetic we head to Cheshire Royal GC by Cottyuk, Matt has been a good friend to the kinetic since he started designing and somehow found his way unto a tour spot while he was just a noob. Last year one of his courses hosted the Kinetic finals. Sadly Matt is not designing at the moment, some excuse about have a young family which to me is just a bit silly, isn't there boarding schools or coal mines or just lock them in a basement when designing but noooo, these days kids have to be looked after. I was never looked after and I turned out alright. Anyway, what it does mean is we have to use one of his old courses. A couple of windy days to start but the good news is that it calms one for rounds 3 and 4, you guys just have to make the cut to enjoy those conditions, now that cant be to hard can it? Have fun and good luck all.

I personally think the conditions with strong winds and fast greens are maybe too severe. Why I might start up a new tour using these great courses with more “user friendly settings”. And an actual cash prize too boot

Hello Kinetic crew!
Newbie to the pro tours here. Got promoted from the CCs thanks to last weeks blood bath down there, after spending the entire 2K21 cycle of the tours in CC-whatever it might have been any week. Slowly worked the way up until I finally found what it took to get here. Never did I expect to find myself up here on this level nor do I seriously expect to go any further, but today I have made something unexpected come true since I see my name on the Kinetic leaderboard!
And wow, was this probably the unluckiest week to find myself here! Toughie of a course, brutal conditions. A real "welcome to the pro tours" baptism by fire. Did okay, -8 round 1. -6 round 2. Got some unlucky misses here and there and got absolutely iced by the last 5 holes both rounds, however no bogey level mistakes made. Probably will end up being in the first group to miss the cut this week, but think my pro tour debut could have gone worse! Could have gone better too, but this is a good start. Had I ended up at like half the score, I'd be wishing a speedy run back down to where I came from!
Onto next week I reckon, cheers!

I like the tougher conditions and more challenging courses. Had an enjoyable tournament, the first two rounds were a fun challenge to make the cut!
