Hey plawlor15,
Just played your course and really enjoyed it.Nice consistent environment overall.Loved the time of day shading as well as the individual planting. You did a great job on the bunkers(really liked the waste bunkers and planting). One bunker on the right of a back nine par 3 was a bit sharp or unnatural.I think some of the hole layouts larger than 60 degrees were a bit off for the style of the course. I thought the natural rolling fairways worked well.#6 had an odd pointed wave to the left of the fairway. #8 was a stunner - loved it.I can see the added effort you put into this course. You should do well in the contest.See you at the finishing line.

Sandbelt meets links with a coastal vibe. Great environment and love the plot i.imgur.com/Y8nAT6c.jpgNice little clubhouse i.imgur.com/354Ncjy.jpgPlayed in barely any wind so could play a little more target golf, but would be exciting in high winds. Some good undulations and elevation changes and the greens were nicely done. Had to have a go at the spine on 6 to see what would happen and the big drop on 17. I know that wasn't a good strategy but it was fun. You can hardly tell but the first tee is a little lumpy. They are deep bunkers when you get in them and I found out on the 16th Saved my best to last with an eagle on 18. Great track and I enjoyed my round.

Your meticulous eye for detail always seems to spot an issue or two that I forgot to cleanup! Any interest in Beta testing the next one? Much appreciated! Peter

Finally got a chsnce to play this. A real fun plot made with some great views. Quirky hole designs that are creative but will probably be hit or miss for those playing. I had fun on my round!

Thanks for taking the time to play. I assume you're talking about 2, 3, and 5? I knew I was taking a bit of a chance with those holes - some will like and some will hate. Appreciate the feedback! Peter Yeah I can’t remember the specific holes but the way the fairway would almost take a full 180 around the barrancas and water hazards. I really enjoy taking chances like that. And it’s exactly what this competition of for!

Played your course, was the best so far of the Rookie competition IMHO, my only gripe, as a Scotsman, is that I didn't see a single coo. Or a crossing for them. . .

Thanks for the good course plawlor15 . Really enjoyed my round on your Northwest Pacific dunes style course. Lipped out of an ace on hole 16 and my putting was lack lustre on some of the more challenging greens. Plantings were nice and some nice use of sand, although a bit steep in a couple of areas. Like the plantings. Hole routings were very interesting and teasing with some of the sharper angle dog-legs. Good luck in the comp
