Anyone else been dabbling around in this? Its in closed beta but pretty easy to get, and free. (at least for now)
Its a Battle Royale game, but basically someone has done, as far as I can tell, exactly what I have been saying someone needs to do. Take the best parts from PUBG and fortnite and leave out the parts people don't like.
Its PUBG, but without the cash grind/monetization, adding in the fun and gameplay of Fortnite, but not the building. Add in the class system of Apex Legends, expand on that even, then throw in the character cosmetics and general look and feel of Ring of Elysium.
Right now there are about 2 million concurrent players, and from what I've played it seems quite fun, after you learn what you can do with the crafting and classes.
