Firstly my apologies for stepping on anyones toes by creating a thread. Secondly, I'm back  yep 2 good weeks on Elite and I am allowed back in the Big Boy sand pitt, oh by the way, I brought a new Bucket and Spade with me  Now making cuts here is/will be my biggest battle, but I may, I say may, make one on my 1st attempt  I began rather unexpectedly tbh, -8 thru 9  gave myself a nose bleed I putted really, really really really well, unlike Rd2 where i putted really really really poop  -19 thru 36H's  fingers crossed. |

The Happy Tee Friends are looking for players!
We are a friendly group of pixel golfers enjoying team based competition in good atmosphere. Teams of 4 players are put together by means of a draft, so there's no need to have a complete team to be able to join! Season 7 will start soon, and we are looking to expand from 40 to 48 players!
Requirements:
- Be a member of one of the TGCT Pro Tours (Kinetic, Elite, Platinum)
- Play the weekly Challenge Circuit tournaments (= 4 extra rounds per week)
- Report your scores on Discord or in the forum

Is this the thread? -21 at the cutline, but should've been better with two very, very dumb bogeys (one in each round, one courtesy a misplayed splash, and one driven by a waterball off the tee on a Par 5...). In R1, I was -7 at the turn and finished -10. In R2, I was -9 (!!) at the turn and finished -11. Really disappointing back 9s in both rounds. Have to work on not getting ahead of myself, as both times I could feel my play slipping just based on the sheer excitement of doing well on the fronts.
Hopefully -21 makes the cut and I can come through with some solid weekend rounds to keep my fine form alive (made cuts in 6 of the last 7 weeks coming into this one, with T10 being my top finish).
Felt like a return to a bit more challenging of a course this week, which was welcomed by me! I feel like my best chance is the harder the course is. But on top of challenging, thought this one was also really fun to play with some interesting shots.

Still here...  If here is "here", that is, because this might be a clandestine thread and who knows what happens to people posting in it... Anyway, -7 first round (yuck) and -11 second round (okay, better) resulted in -18 at the cut... and watching the cutline until tomorrow evening and likely missing it by 1? If I make the cut, it'll remove at least one red thingy and I'll be here for at least two more weeks...  If not, I should have at least avoided additional red thingies and then I'll be here for.... at least two more weeks... Best wishes Frans |

Sorry to my fantasy owners for that quad on 17 R1, lol. Took an aggressive line off the tee because a grey fast cleared the water in my practice round, but with 4mph more tailwind in the actual round a grey fast finds the water? Okay, buddy. Didn't take enough time before the second shot and got in my head to hit a red slow obviously worried about the fast, only to look down and see the game thought that swing was even faster than the first. Awesome game. Had a decent round 2 but -17 probably not gonna make it. Idk, might be close.

Oh boy... R3 and R4 were two of the worst rounds I've had since the switch to Pro. And I can't even blame the XB tempo, because my tempo was great (83% GIR in both rounds). I couldn't putt worth a damn! Those were some tricky greens, and I made it more challenging by constantly overhitting putts. Been spending a lot of time lately figuring out distances, wind and elevation impacts, etc. but all of that means nothing if you can't putt!

First piece of luck in a lonnnggg time and it was an albatross in R2, without it it would have been yet another missed cut. Difficult to make cuts with my game which is very much freestyle, very little in the way of calculations for wind, lies, and certainly no putting systems.
Never going to challenge but I'd rather play this way than sweat over every detail.

My work here is done, made cut, beat fransslabak by 1  time to retire me thinks Rds 3 & 4 were like rd2, some good, some poop. -30 finish, near the bottom, but not going to be THE bottom Well played all. |
