Has a course been announced for Week 9 yet? I don't see it on the weather report?

I see many people complaining about set ups and it being too difficult. The setups have been great this season. Love that there is still some form of challenge which is something that I was a little worried about after the difficulty change. Idk who schedules things but keep it goin, its been fun. Funny seeing people b%& and moan too edit: after reading the thread it seems like Q is the guy. Love the picks so far.

This is a forum, where people share opinions. Not everyone will have the same opinion. Otherwise there wouldn’t be the need for a forum at all. If this is funny for you, you must be easily amused. It seems like you are trying to troll the previous posters.

Doesn't make much sense to me but can't please everyone I guess

Doesn't make much sense to me but can't please everyone I guess I’m reading things a bit different. I’ve not read anything suggesting people are upset with the difficulty. More that they would like some weeks to be less of a grind.

I was not targeting specific posters. I see people every week whether its in the game itself, in chats, in forums etc demean the people that keep this thing running for us. And seeing people complain provides some entertainment to me, which I don't think is too weird, its funny. For sure everyone has a right to their opinion. My apologies if you thought I was targeting someone specific. That's just not the case.

For what it's worth, I've been loving the conditions. This stuff should be hard, it's Plat. As evidenced by the top scorers, there hasn't really been anything unfair, people are still shooting the lights out. Unfortunately, after starting off hot with -26 thru two, I didn't have best finish to the week, going -11 / -8 (yuck) on the weekend to bring it in at -45. Those pins in R4 were tough, and I didn't make things any easier on myself letting way too many grey slows creep into my game. Hopefully still a good finish as I look to claim the title as the highest ranked XB player on TGCT !

I just think this was inevitable for plat with the switch to pro. I think we hit -60 in the first few weeks as many times as the whole season last year, and that was with difficult courses. Dialing up tough conditions on the hardest courses in the game has brought that down to -12/-13 a round range, but that comes with frustrating play, at least for me.
I agree plat should be hard. I just prefer a challenging course that's solved with creativity either through shaping your shots or good course management. Like we had a great par 3 on a course earlier this season that you couldn't really attack the pin because of the slopes at landing, but if you went long right it would catch slopes and funnel back to the short left pins. Stuff like that I like, but these courses with anthill pins or stupid pin locations where it's just like you max loft/spin and land in this square and maybe you can hold the green...that's not any fun to me. And if people are being honest it's not fun for them either. What they find fun is the competition of plat, but I doubt anyone is dialing up max conditions on Winged Foot playing casual rounds just for the fun of it.

Isn't tied 17th on Xbox equivalent to -127 through 4 on PS4??

Xbox plays a different version of the game.. I'm calling it PGA Tour 2k21 (casino edition). The main event is tempo roulette.
Masters difficulty on PS feels like pro on Xbox.. but even that is a disadvantage on xbox when it gives you something random.. incredible shooting yourself Dan.
