 Wow! Thank you so much everyone! It's seriously such an honor to be recognized for virtual golf course design! 😁 Huge shout outs to mattyfromcanada b101 TannerBronson mattf27 PithyDoctorG Q and so many others who helped me out along the way! And the biggest shout out of all to Mr. GeraldEpee for teaching me literally everything I know! There were so many AMAZING courses in this contest that it blew my mind and I hope we can share in celebrating what we've accomplished as rookies! We are the "future" of course design in the upcoming games so let's try to keep building with each other on what we've accomplished. You guys are great! This community is great! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go buy a hot tub... 😂 Cheers! |

Hiya, I'm new to 2k21/TGC. A few questions:
Is the Rookie contest annual only?
And if any contestants see this, how many hours per week did you put into the submitted course?
I have learned the basics of the editor and have started my first real course project, but between work, family and band, I maybe get 4hrs a week to work on the course. How were you able to manage your time to complete a course in 4 months?

Thank you, Ian or (WhatGrenadeWhere) - TGC Forums / (Grenade) - TGC Discord Me, patlouvar and freternick run a contest called Design League - the 2nd event of season 3 is just ending tomorrow, but I am happy to share the next one when it comes up, should be within the next week or two. They are 4-6 long contests that are designed for rookies & beginners to teach more fundamentals of design & give valuable feedback |
