Posted this before in the Under Construction section, but adding to this area with some updated pictures:
I've decided to base my Rookie Design contest golf course on an area that I have driven by a few times now. Windurra USA is a horse farm/training area located near Conshohocken, PA. There's really only a small sign for it, otherwise you would totally miss the turn down the gravel path road. I thought it would make a great setting for a fictional countryside golf course.
Routing has been completed, but still some hole design and planting needs to be done. Also, need to build a clubhouse. Since I'm basing the golf course on a horse farm, I was thinking of naming each hole after a famous racing horse (preferably the ones that have won the Triple Crown). See some updated images below of current progress:
