A really nice green set beside that waterfall. Looks very good to me for a second design. Its hard to get feedback these days, with so many courses being published. I assume you get feedback from the judges?

This is a really beautiful course. Great environment and sight lines. The buildings in the background really added to the look as well without being too in-your-face.
If you’re looking for something to work on: bunker sculpting definitely stood out as not looking as good as everything else on the course.
Also, green speed is 164. Usually you don’t want to pick something too close to the default green speeds (144, 163, 187) so you probably want to publish either at ~155 or ~175 next time.
Great course though, and it looks like it got Tour Worthy, so congrats!

Who doesn't love a swiss themed course? A really lovely layout with some good risk/reward. Pared the 5th without hitting any of the fairway. I made a mess of the 10th when I missed the green and lipped out my par putt. Great rockwork and planting, makes it look very natural. Lots of use of split fairways which is great depending on the wind as to the best way home.

Really nice track. Had a great time, will be back for more. I don't love a waterfall, but seriously, from someone who's spent some time with rocks in the designer... the rock work? Thumbs up. I also thought you treated some of the fairway bunkers really authentically—as an example, the two on the first whole were really good, the way they sloped with the camber of the fairway, really liked that. Some of the sidehill bunkers were a bit suspect at times though, specifically on 6, they looked really shallow, not "bunker"-like. But overall, really nice work bud. Cheers.

Just enjoyed a -2 round from the back tees playing with a strong wind. Some long par 4's. Overall, really well done! Visually stunning - lighting was awesome. #3 was a favorite as were the par 5's #9 & #13. #5 nice par 5 hole also and the large bunker left side of fairway planting was superb. Smooth course, nice planting -especially in some of the rock work. Greens were very playable with the slopes. Course seemed realistic and hole designs were creative.
Some minor things I noticed: #4 steep drop off right side - not sure if a player could recover and get back to fairway from down there. Creeks along #7 and #16 have a round cookie cutter look to them - looks unnatural. Maybe use a long curved brush instead of dragging a circle when sculpting them. The pond behind #16 seemed forced . Some of the round and oval bunkers around the greens seemed kinda generic compared to the more random shaped, well done fairway ones.
At the end of the day I would say it is a great course (2nd course -wow) and you should do well in the contest!
Big thanks again for the feedback on my course - Alpentahl Club - and look forward to your next project! Thanks, Bob

Played today, back tees pin 3 with a mild westerly wind, some (random) comment:
1st tee shot - wow great looking hole. Set up the course really nicely. 2nd - loved the hole design - who doesn’t love a drivable 4 and drop holes are great fun. Looking back at the tee from the green the start of the water on the left looked a bit rough (and I wouldn’t want to walk down that hill in the wet). 4 looks great. Love the waterfall and green by it. I conspired to make a 7. Got distracted but the great scenery. 5th green maybe a bit small. Didn’t seem to bit with the previous green. By the way, love the fairway bunkers / waste area design. Looks great. Some bunkers near greens didn’t look like they’d been sculpted. Looked like it on 5 (but didn’t check), definitely the case in 6 (in particular middle bunker is almost vertical for the whole thing). The lighting on the 9th tee shot is ace, great view. But a very small green for a long club in. The planting looks great, real attention to detail here. Not sure I get the tower block off 11, kind of just planted in a grassy hill. Not sure it’s architecturally stable. Made a 2 on 14 (highlight of the day). My second shot was a bit blind (albeit it went in) but not sure this was intentional.
Overall a really enjoyable round. Loved the use of water throughout but not excessively and the atmosphere/planting looked really good. Shot level par so very fair. I think there’s a few little bits where it could be better but overall a really nice course. Good luck in the contest.

Wow....Sorry you feel this way.I'm not sure I follow all your observations but everyone has a right to his/her own opinion. I worked hard on this course but I know I have lots of areas to improve on.I don't know what you meant by getting help as a newbie or how accurate some of your other comment are. This was all my effort on my own with no help. I just entered the Parkland contest to get experience.Even though this was only my 2nd publish,I have watched hundreds of tutorial hours and been practising tirelessly. Sorry this bothered you so much.
