Hello everyone, Happy to put this one out of my designer tab. Hickory Sticks GC has been published as my entry into the Parkland/Golden Age Design Contest hosted by bennyk315 and cd06. The course comes in just under 7,000 yards at a par 71. White tee tips for best play, any wind direction works. Pin sets 1 and 2 are friendly whereas 3 and 4 become a bit more nasty. A couple photo's to peak your interest. 1st tee box and fairway, overlooking Clubhouse water patio. 1st Green overlooking 2nd Hole Par 3. 5th Hole Par 5... Biarritz... or my attempt at one, anyways. Pin 3 is a dick-punch on this one. Overlooking 11th hole and 12th tee. 11th green and 12th tee (splitting waterfalls islanding the 12th tee, specifically added over 35 low waterfalls for Chef mattyfromcanada, and yeah, you're right, they are amazing... ) 12th hole. Par 3 16th hole, elevated green separated by front side depression. Option to get much closer by taking on the overhanging tree on the left. if you miss, you have only yourself to blame, because the play is clubbing down and putting it in the middle of the fairway. 18th Green with a view of the Club house. Patio high above the green with those taking in a pint able to see players coming in from an elevated fairway to a green running hard front to back. As always, i am open for any and all feedback! I hope you enjoy your rounds.

Really cool course and one of the most complex clubhouses I've seen. The plot looks great i.imgur.com/6maexCw.jpgThe entrance gateway is nicely done i.imgur.com/osov86D.jpg. I love off course stuff. And wow, what a clubhouse i.imgur.com/SWxkcwj.jpgMy only concern was the brick pillars on the left side of the first tee. Most brick pillars are to hold something in place, like a fence. May be a less "substantial" pole. Some of the tee boxes were very shaded, which made it a little hemmed in. That must have taken an eternity to build the double height retaining wall all the way around the lake. Good number of undulations on the greens kept my putting numbers up, I always seemed to have a slippery downhiller. I have trouble judging them. Enjoyed my round and 5 stars.

Played this yesterday - nice publish man! Really liked the background scale of the environment. Strategy was definitely better than on any of your other publishes too. Great work Seb!

Very solid entry to the competition. That retaining wall must’ve been a nightmare to do. Did get a bit of lag toward the end of the round (holes 16-17ish) but nothing terrible. Some nice hole designs, greens were fair, well done

scootmcgoot cd06 sandgroperThank you all for the feedback here. Lag on 16-17 was a no doubter but tried to limit as much as I could. The depression between 16 and 17 was ground tree planting, so I see that happening! Sorry about that! Thank you for the play throughs and thanks for the video Sandgroper! Clubhouse was fun. I did want to do fences between the posts, on the first tee, but the elevation change made that quite annoying! Charlie, thanks brother. Much of the course is placement golf… so I’m glad that was somewhat noticed!
